·Beijing new car sales in the first half of the year decreased by 11.74%

Beijing Beichen Asian Games Village Automobile Trading Market Center recently released a report showing that in 2013, Beijing new car traded 34,030 vehicles, down 14.28% from last year's 39,700 vehicles, a drop of 15.53 percentage points higher than the national average; the chain fell by 8.84%, a decline of 31.98 percentage points higher than the national; ~June, Beijing has accumulated 209,960 new cars, a year-on-year decrease of 11.74% compared with 237,900 vehicles last year, a drop of 20.94 percentage points higher than the national total.
According to the analysis, the sales of new cars in Beijing in the first half of the year continued to be weak compared with previous years. The government's purchase restriction is still the biggest bottleneck to curb the sales of new cars. Despite the reduction in production capacity and destocking, the competition in the new car market has become increasingly fierce with the introduction of new models from various manufacturers and the increasing transparency of new car prices. It is worth mentioning that the new energy vehicle is the only bright spot for new car sales in Beijing in the first half of the year. It has become a hot spot for manufacturers and has been involved.
The Beichen Asian Games Village Automobile Trading Market Center predicts that the new car sales in the Beijing auto market will be better than the first half of the year, but the overall sales will still maintain a negative year-on-year growth trend. The fourth quarter will be the best time for new car sales in Beijing this year. The sales of imported cars in Beijing are still difficult to improve in the second half of the year. The new sales outlets in the free trade zone and the foreign areas have severely diverted the market for imported car sales in Beijing. The imported car dealers are facing competition and market pressures will shift to the best-selling models and RV-modified car operations. In addition, the second-hand car transactions in Beijing will gradually become active in the second half of the year. The increased escrow license will provide incentives for new car sales in Beijing. Second-hand car e-commerce will play a role in the national circulation.
