Product Overview

The NYP series internal gear pump is a new type of positive displacement pump designed to meet the needs of various industries such as petroleum, chemical, paint, medicine, and food processing. It is ideal for handling different types of media with varying properties and viscosities due to its unique structure and the use of appropriate materials.

Working Principle

The internal gear pump operates by using an external rotor with internal teeth to drive the internal rotor within a fully enclosed housing. The pump casing and crescent-shaped front cover separate the suction and discharge ports. As the gears rotate, negative pressure is created at the suction port, allowing liquid to be drawn in and carried to the discharge port. When the gears mesh, the liquid is expelled through the outlet, completing the pumping process.

Key Advantages

  1. Stable delivery without pulsation, minimal vibration, and low noise levels.
  2. Excellent self-priming capability.
  3. Can handle corrosive media when appropriate materials are selected; operating temperature can reach up to 200°C.
  4. Both the internal and external rotors rotate in the same direction, resulting in less wear and extended service life.
  5. Pump flow can be adjusted by changing the speed.
  6. Specially suited for high-viscosity media.

Model Explanation

NYP stands for internal gear pump.

52 indicates the displacement in liters per 100 revolutions.

A denotes a design improvement code.
