Theory
The diaphragm-seal pressure gauge works by transferring the measured pressure (P) through a sealed fluid system. This creates a pressure difference (delta P), which is then transmitted to the pressure gauge. When the diaphragm is rigid enough, the delta P remains small, allowing the gauge to accurately reflect the pressure of the medium being measured.
