Application
The diaphragm pressure gauge is widely used in various industries such as petrochemicals, chemicals, alkali production, chemical fiber, pharmaceuticals, food, and textiles. It is suitable for measuring the pressure of corrosive, high-temperature, high-viscosity, easily crystallizing, solidifying, and floating media. It is also ideal for environments where direct use of a general pressure gauge is not feasible due to contamination risks or the need for clean measurement.
Theory
When the measured medium exerts pressure (P) on the diaphragm, it causes deformation. This deformation transmits the pressure through a sealing fluid system, resulting in a pressure difference (ΔP). If the diaphragm is rigid enough, the ΔP will be small, allowing the pressure gauge to measure the actual pressure of the medium effectively.
