Join us again next month for our June Design Night, themed “Faster. Stronger. Tech-ier.†on Thursday, June 6th, from 6 PM to 10 PM. Whether you're a seasoned maker or just curious about what's possible, there's something for everyone. Come explore, create, and be inspired!
In today’s rapidly evolving world, innovation is at the forefront of everyday life. Traditional manufacturing is being reshaped by cutting-edge technologies like advanced computers, 3D printers, and digital fabrication services. Creativity is no longer confined to professionals—it's alive in communities everywhere. More and more people are moving away from mass-produced items and embracing personalized, creative projects. Makers of all backgrounds are stepping into the spotlight, sharing their unique ideas and fueling a wave of innovation across neighborhoods and online platforms.
Following the success of last month’s Robotics-themed Design Night, this month’s event centered around the theme “Making It.†The evening kicked off with an inspiring talk from Mark Hatch, CEO of Tech Shop, who shared his vision for the future of making and how technology is empowering individuals to bring their ideas to life.
Another highlight was the “Make a Creature, Take a Creature†station, where guests used Autodesk 123D Creature to design their own fantastical beings—monsters, animals, or even original masterpieces. Once completed, these designs were printed and combined into a large collaborative creature collage. Every participant left with a 3D-printed version of their creation, a tangible reminder of their artistic journey.
