Passenger car sales data for the first three quarters of Europe

The passenger car market as a whole is sluggish, taking a look at the international market to see how European passenger cars are sold. The European Automobile Manufacturer's Association (ACEA) of the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (CEA) has released passenger car sales data for the European market in September this year.

<br> <br> 9 overall sales this year, passenger car sales in the EU-27 was 1,099,264 vehicles, down 10.8 percent year on year, sales of 1,232,840 vehicles last year. In the first three quarters of this year, the number of passenger vehicles sold by the EU-27 countries totaled 9,368,327 units, a year-on-year decrease of 7.6%, and the sales volume for the same period last year was 10,134,123 units.

If the EU-27 plus the European Free Trade Association EFTA in Iceland, Norway and Switzerland, the three Nordic countries, in September this year, the number of passenger vehicle sales in Europe was 1,132,034 vehicles, down 11.0% year on year sales in the same period last year was 1,271,339; In the third quarter, the sales volume was 9,724,423 units, a year-on-year decrease of 7.2%. The sales volume for the same period last year was 10,473,838 units.

Ranked second is Germany, with sales of 250,082 vehicles, down 10.9% year-on-year; cumulative sales for the first three quarters were 2,358,798 units, down 1.8% year-on-year.

Followed by France, sales volume was 137,536 units, a year-on-year decrease of 17.9%; cumulative sales in the first three quarters were 1,431,509 units, a year-on-year decrease of 13.8%.

Italy's new vehicle sales in September were 109,178 units, down 25.7% year-on-year; cumulative sales in the first nine months were 1,090,627 units, a year-on-year decrease of 20.5%.

Car prices sales <br> <br> 9 this year, Volkswagen sales in the European Union is still the highest for 261,874 vehicles, down 8.0% year on year; the first nine months of Volkswagen Group's total sales in the European Union is 2,311,410 units, down 1.2 year %.

In September, Peugeot Citroen still ranked second with sales of 119,482 units, a year-on-year decrease of 8.1%. In the first nine months, it sold 1,120,538 units, a year-on-year decrease of 13.0%.

Renault Motors sold 76,572 vehicles in the European Union in September this year, a year-on-year decrease of 29.5%; cumulative sales for the first nine months were 790,324, a year-on-year decrease of 17.7%.
