Both represent major breakthroughs in the field of synthetic rubber production.
The low-gel-content butadiene rubber technology employs a novel nickel-based catalytic system consisting of nickel naphthenate, triisobutylaluminum, and BF3·D complexes. This advanced system enables the synthesis of diene rubber with varying viscosities and molecular weights, offering greater flexibility for different applications. The technology has already been granted Chinese invention patents, highlighting its innovation and potential for commercialization.
Meanwhile, the development of Low Mooney SBR1507 marks the first industrial-scale production of this specific grade of styrene butadiene rubber in China. The product's performance has reached an advanced level comparable to similar foreign products. Compared to the commonly used SBR1502, SBR1507 offers significant advantages in processing efficiency and versatility. It can be widely applied in molded products, foam rubber, conveyor belts, and other general rubber applications.
