Chemical Enterprises Doing Agriculture Three Gorges Forum National Top Ten Grain Models
From February 26th to 28th, top grain modelers from eight provinces and autonomous regions across China—including Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Gansu, and Jiangxi—gathered in Yichang for the China Agricultural Three Gorges Forum, hosted by Hubei Yihua, a leading fertilizer manufacturer. This event marked a significant step in strengthening the connection between agricultural producers and industry leaders.
The forum aimed to bridge the gap between farmers and fertilizer companies, emphasizing the importance of direct communication in improving sales processes and ensuring quality production. According to the organizers, this was the first time such a large-scale agricultural forum had been organized in China, bringing together national top grain modelers to engage directly with manufacturers. The initiative was designed to foster collaboration and ensure that farmers’ needs were better understood and met.
During the event, farmers from different regions expressed their hopes for more affordable and high-quality fertilizers from leading companies like Yihua Group. They emphasized the need for industry support to boost agricultural productivity and increase farmers' income. In response, Yihua Group reaffirmed its commitment to producing cost-effective and high-standard fertilizers, while stressing the importance of sustained cooperation with both farmers and workers to drive agricultural development.
In addition, Yihua announced a new initiative: each year, it will provide a number of experimental fertilizers free of charge to the nation’s top ten grain modelers. These modelers will then use data collected from their experimental fields to guide scientific fertilizer application and support further research. The modelers welcomed this move enthusiastically. Bai Jiang, a grain modeler from Inner Mongolia, said after visiting the factory that he was impressed by Yihua’s advanced facilities and committed to using their products on his 70,000 mu of farmland. Similarly, Wei Yongxi from Guangdong expressed optimism about the future of China's chemical fertilizer industry through this forum.
Dr. Jiang Yuanhua, a member of the 10th National People's Congress and chairman of Hubei Yihua Group, shared his vision: “Our goal is to expand our phosphorus and coal chemical industries and establish a leading brand in China's agricultural chemical sector. At the same time, serving agriculture, rural areas, and farmers remains a core responsibility. Through this forum, we hope to truly support farmers, boost their income, and ultimately achieve a win-win outcome for both farmers and enterprises.â€
