Introduction to the Centrifugal Dewatering Machine
The centrifugal dewatering machine is a high-efficiency device used in mineral processing and coal washing industries. It consists of two main parts: the separation mechanism and the auxiliary mechanism. The separation structure features a hollow drum with a frustum shape. The inner surface of the drum has a slope ranging from 30 to 50 degrees, constructed using steel plate flange welding, cast aluminum, or fiberglass-reinforced plastics. This drum is fixed to an axle and rotates along with it.
Working Principle of the Centrifugal Dewatering Machine
Ore pulp is fed into the inner wall of the rotating drum via a distributor. Under the influence of centrifugal force, heavier minerals settle on the inner wall while lighter particles are expelled from the drum. After three minutes, the feeding system stops, and the tailings are discharged. Then, the concentrate is washed with high-pressure water before being collected. Once the process is complete, the system returns to its initial position for the next cycle.
