1. Preparation for measurement 1) Mount the composite electrode on the electrode rod and insert the electrode plug into the measuring electrode socket on the back of the instrument.

2) Connect the temperature sensor to the sensor socket (If you set it manually, you do not need to connect the sensor).

3) Wash the electrode with distilled water.

2. pH calibration There is a difference between the zero potential conversion factor and the theoretical value for each electrode, and they are different. Therefore, to perform pH measurement, the electrode must be pH calibrated.

1) Temperature setting. Press the “Temperature Setting” key to make the temperature indicator in the temperature setting position. At this time, the first digit of the display screen flashes. Use the “→” key to move the setting digit. At the same time, press the “↑” key to make the temperature display value be Measure the temperature of the standard solution at this time and press the "OK" button again to confirm.

2) After washing the electrode with distilled water, blot it with filter paper, place the electrode in the first standard solution, press the “pH/pH calibration” key to make the instrument in the state of pH measurement, and press the “pH” after the reading is stable. / pH calibration key, the instrument is in the pH calibration state, and press the "→" "↑" key to display the pH value of the standard solution at the current temperature. Press the "Confirm" button again to confirm.

3) After washing the electrode with distilled water, blot it with filter paper. Put the electrode in the second standard solution (according to the pH value of the sample to be measured, the sample solution is acidic or alkaline, and select the standard solution with similar pH value, and the pH value of the sample solution does not exceed 3 pH units from the first standard solution). Press the “pH/pH calibration” key to make the instrument in the state of pH measurement. After the reading is stable, press the “pH/pH calibration” key to make the instrument in the pH calibration state and press “→” “↑” key to display the value. The pH of the standard solution at that time is confirmed by pressing the “Confirm” button.

4) Calibration of the instrument is completed.

3. Measurement of pH 1) After cleaning the electrode with distilled water, wash the solution with the test solution twice more, and place the electrode in the solution to be measured.

2) Set the temperature according to the temperature setting method in the pH calibration so that the temperature is the temperature of the sample under test.

3) Press the “pH/pH calibration” button to make the “pH” indicator light bright. Stir the solution with a glass rod to make it uniform. After the reading is stable, the displayed value is the pH value of the tested sample.

4. Measurement of electrode potential (mV) Place the electrode in the solution under test and press the “mV” key. The “mV” indicator lights up. Stir the solution to make it uniform. After the reading is stable, the displayed value is the “mV” value of the electrode potential of the solution, and the ± polarity is automatically displayed.
