National Safety Production Emergency Rescue Center Established
On February 21, the National Safety Production Emergency Rescue Command Center was officially established in Beijing, marking a significant step in strengthening China's safety production supervision system. The center, an essential part of the national emergency management framework, is led by Wang Dexue, a member of the Party Group and deputy director of the State Administration of Work Safety Supervision. This new institution plays a critical role in coordinating and managing emergency rescue operations across the country.

It is tasked with participating in the development and revision of laws, regulations, and policies related to safety production emergency rescue. Additionally, it is responsible for creating and implementing a national emergency management system, as well as guiding local governments and relevant departments in their emergency preparedness efforts.
The center also oversees the nationwide construction of emergency rescue infrastructure, manages national emergency plans, and ensures that all regions and departments comply with safety protocols. It is responsible for monitoring and managing emergency resources, collecting and reporting critical incident data, and coordinating responses to large-scale accidents.
Furthermore, the center conducts training programs for emergency rescue personnel, promotes scientific and technological advancements in safety production, and supervises the use of national funds allocated for emergency rescue assets. In addition, the State Administration of Work Safety continues to handle administrative oversight, drafting policies, and ensuring compliance with emergency management standards.
