The mold industry development space to increase the future of the mold machine market

The modern mold industry is often referred to as a "non-declining industry" due to its essential role in manufacturing. When evaluating the industrial development of a city, one of the key indicators is the maturity of its mold industry. Cities like Shanghai, Zhejiang’s Beicang and Huangyan, Ningbo, Shenzhen, and Dongguan in Guangdong have invested heavily in advanced machinery such as machining centers, CNC milling machines, and precision spark machines. These tools have significantly improved production speed and accuracy. However, despite these technological advancements, the most fundamental aspect of mold manufacturing—flying mode—has remained largely unchanged for decades. In many factories, the flying model is still at a 20th-century level. Small and medium-sized molds are manually turned and tapped, while large molds are forcefully flipped using lifting equipment, often resulting in uncontrolled drops. This outdated method poses serious risks, leaving hidden flaws and defects in the final product. Manual tapping, especially with copper rods, not only damages the mold surface but also affects the appearance quality. The placement of the copper rod influences the final look, making it difficult to consistently achieve the desired result. Skilled workers are needed to determine the correct approach, but differences in experience lead to inconsistencies in injection molding, causing issues like uneven glue application or excessive trial runs. For large molds, the manual process is even more dangerous. The mold must be forcibly flipped using lifting equipment, and then dropped freely, creating strong inertia and impact that can damage both the equipment and personnel. In contrast, developed countries like the U.S. and Japan have long moved away from such methods. They use traditional platen clamping machines, which have been widely adopted in mold manufacturing. Many Chinese enterprises are now realizing the importance of replacing manual operations with automated solutions. While traditional clamping machines have reduced labor intensity, they still require significant time, especially for larger molds. The process involves installing the entire template before clamping, which can take over half a day. To address this, industry experts have combined mold theory with practical experience, working alongside engineers to develop a new generation of flying die machinery. This innovation, based on memory magnetic locking technology, introduces an electric permanent magnet chuck system that eliminates the need for tightening screws. It allows for 0-90° flipping on horizontal machines and 0-180° on vertical ones, enabling partial flying modes (A and B board). It saves time, offers full computer control, and ensures safe and efficient operation. One minute is all it takes to open the mold, making the process simple, fast, and reliable. This is the only system in the world that uses a permanent magnetic disk, though traditional pressure plate models can also be produced upon request. This advancement marks a major shift from manual tapping to fully mechanical operation.

PCTFE Products

Polytrifluorovinyl chloride (PCTFE) is a kind of engineering plastics with excellent performance, its long-term use temperature is -200∽150 DEG C, has unique rigidity, toughness and low temperature resistance, can withstand all kinds of acids, alkali, oils and most organic solvents, its excellent electrical insulation in a higher temperature range is not affected by temperature and humidity; In addition, it also has outstanding air tightness, surface non-viscosity, high mechanical strength, very low water absorption.

Poly (TRIFLUOROVINYL CHLORIDE) PLATES AND RODS ARE MOLDED BY POLY (TRIFLUOROVINYL CHLORIDE) RESIN, WHICH CAN BE WIDELY USED AS CORROSION RESISTANT STRUCTURAL MATERIALS, ideal VALVE parts FOR CRYOGENIC liquids, ANTI-corrosion lining for equipment, transparent mirrors, vacuum sealing materials, electronic and electrical components, motor instrument parts, etc.
