This type of flotation machine was successfully developed in the late 1970s by Shenyuan, North Mines and China Nonferrous Ordinary Institutes. Their structure and working principle are basically the same, similar to the American Denver DR flotation machine.
The XJC flotation machine developed and produced by Shen Mining is shown in Figure 1. The BS-X flotation machine designed by China Nonferrous Institute is shown in Figure 2. The CHF-X flotation machine developed by North Mine Institute is shown in Figure 3. Here, the latter is introduced as an example.
The CHF-X flotation machine shown in Fig. 3 consists of two tanks, each with a volume of 7m 3 and two tanks connected back to back to form a 14m 3 double-structure flotation machine.
(1) Structure and working principle. The main components of the flotation machine are shown in Figure 3. The entire vertical shaft component is mounted on the total air duct (also used as a beam).
The impeller is a disc with 8 radial vanes. The cover plate is a four-piece assembled disc with 24 radial blades uniformly distributed around it. The axial clearance between the impeller and the cover plate is 15~20mm, and the radial clearance is 20~40mm. The inflation tube at the upper part of the center cylinder is connected to the total air cylinder, and the lower part of the center cylinder is connected to the circulation cylinder. The bell is mounted at the lower end of the center tube. The cover plate is connected to the circulation cylinder, and the annular space between the circulation cylinder and the bell is used for circulating pulp, and the bell has a guiding effect.
The main feature of the flotation machine is to increase the flotation efficiency by using the vertical large circulation of the slurry and the air being pressed by the low pressure blower. The state of slurry movement is shown in Figure 4. The upward flow generated by the vertical circulation of the slurry through the conical circulation cylinder and the impeller raises the coarse minerals and the minerals with higher density to the upper middle part of the flotation tank, which avoids delamination and sand immersion in the tank. . The low pressure air injected by the blower is evenly dispersed throughout the flotation cell through the impeller and the cover vanes. The mineralized bubbles rise with the vertical circulation flow and enter the calm separation zone above the flotation cell, thus separating from the non-floating gangue. The shorter path of mineralized bubbles rising to the foam layer is also a feature of the flotation machine.
(2) Main features. 1 Designed as a DC tank, the pulp has a large capacity and the flotation speed is fast; 2 The external air blower is used for air supply, and the air volume can be adjusted according to the process requirements, and the adjustment range is large; 3 small footprint, mass per unit volume Light; 4 uses a conical circulation cylinder to make the slurry vertical upwards, which increases the mixing capacity of the lower part of the flotation tank, which can effectively ensure that the ore suspension is not easy to sink, suitable for requiring a large amount of aeration, and the ore nature is better. sorting heavy hard mineral complex thereof; ⑤ only impeller for circulating pulp and air dispersion impeller, deep grooves flotation machine still operates at low speed, it is less wear stirrer, the slurry level is also more stable; 6 The axial and radial clearance between the impeller and the cover plate is larger than that of the A-type flotation machine, and there is no strict requirement, so it is easy to install and adjust; 7 the chemical and power consumption is significantly reduced, and the selection index is improved.
The disadvantage of the flotation machine is that it needs to adopt a step configuration, no self-suction and self-priming slurry capacity, and a low-pressure fan is required, and a sand pump is required for the return of the middle mine, which is not conducive to the configuration of complicated processes. The flotation machine is suitable for roughing and sweeping operations of large and medium-sized flotation plants.

2. Internal machine The factory produces BS-X inflatable mechanical stirring flotation machine designed by China Nonferrous Metals Institute. It is suitable for the selection of colored, ferrous minerals and non-metallic minerals.
The flotation machine is available in two sizes and is made in pairs of double grooves. It consists of 2, 4, 6 or 8 slots and a maximum of 8 slots per column. Each row is equipped with a set of scraper drives and a feed or drain tank or intermediate tank. It has two types of left and right feeding and discharging; it can also be configured in back-to-back form with an inspection platform between the two columns to reduce the floor space.
The flotation machine cannot return to the foam and slurry by self-priming, and needs to be assisted by a long-axis pump. When one column and another column require a step configuration, the step height difference is 300 mm.
The technical performance of the BS-X flotation machine is shown in Table 4. The mass is listed in Table 5. The external dimensions and configuration are shown in Figures 7-10. Among them, the back-to-back configuration of the BS-X8 flotation machine allows connectivity or disconnection, and the connected slurry has a curved motion. The non-connected slurry has a linear motion, which is determined according to user requirements. When the slurry moves in a straight line, a step is set every 6 slots.
3. Zhangji The factory produces CHF-X flotation machine designed by North Mining Institute. The specifications and technical parameters are listed in Table 6. The external dimensions are shown in Figure 11 and Table 7. Zheng Mine also produces this flotation machine.
