According to the editors of China Construction Machinery Business Network, the two-day “8th International Forum on Infrastructure Investment and Construction” will hold 2 thematic forums and 12 parallel forums. This forum attracted more than 1,700 industry elites from 63 countries and regions, including 57 ministerial officials, 32 international financial institution executives from the World Bank, Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank, and international contractor associations. More than 630 company representatives such as contractors, equipment manufacturers, consulting service agencies, and industrial chain service providers. At the same time, Macao has also actively played its role as a service platform for business cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking countries, and has invited Angola, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal, the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe, as well as ministerial and above government officials from East Timor. On the afternoon of June 1, the theme forum held two thematic forums entitled “Change and Innovation: The Road to Sustainable Infrastructure Development” and “Cooperation and Linkage: Infrastructure Construction and Industrial Development”. Ministers of infrastructure from Burma, Zambia, and Nigeria, executives of AIIB, ADB and China Communications Construction, China Railway Construction, China General Motors, Guangxi Liugong, Caterpillar and other international contractors and equipment manufacturing executives, The new model of innovative cooperation, the promotion of infrastructure construction and the development of industrial linkages have been discussed in depth. Subsequently, the third China-Latin Infrastructure Cooperation Forum hosted by the Ministry of Commerce was also held. Ten ministerial guests from Latin America and the Caribbean, together with representatives of international contractors, conducted research on topics such as infrastructure interconnection and cooperation in Latin America and the Caribbean and transformation and upgrading of China-Latin America capacity cooperation model.
