Since the launch of Autodesk Build in 2021, we've been steadily advancing our vision for a connected construction experience through Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). ACC brings together solutions for the entire digital building lifecycle, empowering teams to collaborate more efficiently and make better decisions throughout every phase of a project.
In just the past year alone, we've rolled out nearly 300 product updates to ACC, introducing new features and connecting key workflows. These improvements are helping our customers meet the growing demands of the global construction industry, from complex buildings to critical infrastructure projects.
Today, at CONEXPO, we’re excited to share new updates that further enhance the end-to-end experience within ACC—spanning design, preconstruction, build, and operations. Our goal is to provide a seamless, integrated platform that supports teams from start to finish.
**Streamlined Submittals Process in ACC**
One of the most significant updates we're announcing today is the integration of AutoSpecs into ACC. This powerful tool offers a unified and connected submittal process, allowing users to generate submittal logs in minutes. AutoSpecs automates a time-consuming and error-prone task that used to take weeks, freeing up teams to focus on high-value work while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Additionally, construction teams can now leverage AI to identify potential missing submittals before they become costly issues. Powered by Construction IQ, AutoSpecs analyzes current project specifications against historical data to suggest any items that may be missing. This proactive approach helps reduce risks and improves overall project efficiency.
With a direct integration, users can push the submittal log directly into Autodesk Build. From there, they can track submittal statuses, create custom review processes, annotate and markup documents, and even save closed submittals for future reference.

Users who purchase the ACC for Construction Operations bundle will gain access to AutoSpecs after its general availability release on March 21, 2023.

The ACC mobile app allows users to access data from Autodesk Build, Autodesk Docs, Autodesk BIM Collaborate, or PlanGrid—whether online or offline.
Teams can use the app to navigate drawings and BIM models, collaborate on issues and checklists, create markups, link project photos, and much more.
