Since the introduction of Autodesk Build in 2021, we've been working hard to bring our vision of a connected construction experience through Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) to life. ACC brings together solutions for the entire digital building lifecycle, creating a unified platform that supports teams from design to operations. In just the past year alone, we've rolled out nearly 300 product updates to ACC, enhancing functionality and connecting key workflows to help our customers tackle the growing demands of construction projects worldwide. These updates are designed to streamline processes, improve collaboration, and deliver real value to users across the industry. Today, at CONEXPO, we're excited to announce new features that further enhance the ACC experience—offering a consistent, connected, end-to-end workflow from design through to build and operations. **Streamlined Submittals Process in ACC** One of the most significant updates we’re introducing is the integration of AutoSpecs into ACC. This new tool provides a seamless and connected submittal process within the platform, helping users generate submittal logs quickly and efficiently. AutoSpecs automates a time-consuming and error-prone task that traditionally takes weeks to complete. This allows project teams to focus more on understanding specifications and performing high-value work, while ensuring accuracy in the submittal process. Additionally, construction teams can now use AI-powered insights to identify missing submittal items before they become costly mistakes. Powered by Construction IQ, AutoSpecs analyzes current project specifications against historical data to suggest any potentially missing submittals. With a direct integration, users can push the submittal log into Autodesk Build, where they can track status, create custom review workflows, annotate documents, and even save completed submittals for future reference. Brian Athey, Director of Construction Innovation at Miron Construction, shared: “With AutoSpecs and Autodesk Build integrated in ACC, we're seeing a significant boost in team efficiency and a reduction in the risk of missed submittals. We’re eager to implement this as soon as possible.” Users who purchase the ACC for Construction Operations bundle will gain access to AutoSpecs after its general availability release on March 21, 2023. **Aligning Our Mobile and Web Experience with the Next Phase of Our Vision** At Autodesk, we're focused on connecting teams, data, and workflows throughout the entire project lifecycle on one unified platform. We're continuously strengthening these connections, making it easier for stakeholders to share and access data seamlessly. We understand that successful project execution relies on both office and field teams being fully connected. Mobile access is essential to this goal. That’s why we’ve renamed our mobile app to **Autodesk Construction Cloud**, offering users a single place to access all their project data from Autodesk Build, Autodesk Docs, Autodesk BIM Collaborate, or PlanGrid—whether online or offline. The ACC mobile app enables teams to navigate drawings and BIM models, collaborate on issues and checklists, create markups, link photos, and much more. **Creating a Connected Experience** These updates not only add more functionality but also provide a more cohesive user experience, allowing customers to tailor their ACC environment to better suit their needs. It also gives businesses an opportunity to re-evaluate and meet evolving client expectations as they continue to grow and innovate. We’re committed to building and maintaining trust with our customers by listening to their challenges and delivering value where it matters most. We're excited about the future of the industry and how ACC can help make jobsites safer and more predictable.
