Excerpts from the DailyHerald.com: A 911 call was made before noon on Wednesday at a business located at 37W507 Big Timber Road, just west of Randall Road. Firefighters arrived to find a significant fire in the attic of the single-story building, which later spread to the main level. The flames were brought under control by 2:30 p.m. A total of twelve fire departments joined the Rutland-Dundee Township Fire Protection District in battling the blaze. According to officials, the fire was caused by an electrical fault and is considered accidental. The estimated damage amounts to $1.5 million. The 30-year-old, 9,000-square-foot structure was completely destroyed, along with a skid-steer loader and various construction tools. Employees reportedly noticed sparks coming from both the inside and outside of the building and managed to shut off the power within 10 minutes, preventing further escalation of the situation.
