This message is from Sam Borcia:
> "The Countryside Fire Department was initially dispatched on Sunday, July 20th, 2014, at around 8:40 PM to investigate smoke coming from a townhouse located at 821 Faulkner Place in Vernon Hills. The situation quickly escalated into a working fire, and a Box Alarm was issued shortly after. I've attached some photos for your reference."
Thanks,

Some additional images were taken by Larry Shapiro, who arrived later at the scene.
Larry Shapiro captured several shots showing firefighters using high expansion foam to tackle the fire in the basement. One photo shows the foam generator being deployed, while another highlights a hole in the kitchen floor used to direct the foam into the lower level. He also photographed the rear of the unit that was affected, as well as a warning sign placed near the structure.
Another image shows the front door of the end unit where the fire started, and a final shot captures the Countryside engine with its lines disconnected, still on the scene. Later, Highwood Truck 37 was called back to the roof after an aerial was set up, as new smoke was detected in an adjacent unit.
Fire crews remained on site until around 1:40 AM, when they discovered a second fire in a void space between units. A full alarm response was initiated, and the fire was eventually brought under control. Companies were released around 3:00 AM.
Larry Shapiro also shared more pictures of the ongoing efforts, including the Highwood Truck 37 on the roof, firefighters dousing the common wall, and the newly repainted truck. His photos give a clear look at the intensity of the incident and the dedication of the responders.
