Hey everyone! I just came across some exciting updates from the Highland Park Fire Department. They recently paid a visit to Pierce Manufacturing on October 2nd for their pre-construction consultation. This is for the custom fire apparatus they have on order—a 100-foot mid-mount model. It's always fascinating to see how these departments work closely with manufacturers to tailor their vehicles to meet specific needs. The Highland Park team seemed really excited about this project, and I can't wait to see what the final product looks like!
In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek at some of the design work they’ve been doing. These images show the initial concepts and mockups they’re considering for their new truck. It’s impressive to see all the details they’re focusing on, from the layout of the equipment bay to the placement of the controls.
